BYU Vocal Point can sing, but can they dance?

BYU's all-male a cappella group released a brand new music video today that might settle that question.

An a cappella arrangement of "Blame It on the Boogie," this song is a time-honored classic because of its irresistible disco-funk groove, infectious chorus, and upbeat energy. Made famous by The Jacksons in 1978, the song has remained a favorite across generations.

Watch all seven members of Vocal Point freestyle their way through the song and leave it all on the dance floor.

Shot at Wasatch Studio in downtown Provo, Utah, the music video was directed by Steven Bartholomew with Director of Photography Josh Beck. The music was arranged by Vocal Point director Carson Trautman and Vocal Point percussionist Sterling Stowell. The recording was mixed by Ed Boyer and mastered by Troy Sales.

"Blame It on the Boogie" is now available to stream on all streaming services. Make sure to follow BYU Vocal Point on Instagram, and watch the music video below.
