In honor of ESPN's College GameDay coming to Brigham Young University for the first time since 2009, BYU Vocal Point has pulled their "Game Day Medley" from the vault. The song was part of Vocal Point's album Back In Blue: Maximum A Cappella.

Originally released on Tantara Records in 2011, the medley features the "NFL on Fox Theme," "We Will Rock You," "Get Ready for This," "Chariots of Fire – Main Theme," "The Hey Song," "Charge," "Kernkraft 400." The song was arranged by then-Vocal Point member McKay Crockett. The song was performed and recorded by BYU Vocal Point's 2009-2010 lineup, which included Keith Evans, Robert Seely, Tyler Sterling, Tanner Nilsson, McKay Crockett, Grant Zabriskie, Paul Bodily, Mike Lemon, Doug Clark. The song was recorded by James Stevens.

"Most of the guys in VP are pretty big sportsfans," said Tanner Nilsson at the time of the song's release. "However, after watching videos of ourselves playing sports together, we came to the sad realization that none of us would ever have a career in professional sports. This medley of popular sports songs, however, has given each of us the chance to live out whatever childhood dreams we had of becoming a popular athlete. Ah, the magic of Vocal Point!"

The song is available on all streaming platforms here. You can watch the "lyric video" below.
