Drawing on Scripture, Kyle Pederson's powerful anthem "A New Jerusalem Arise" proclaims the hope of a new creation where tears, hatred, and injustice give way to redemption. Today, The BYU Women's Chorus released a video of their jubilant performance of this song at the historic Latter-day Saint American Fork 3rd Ward Meetinghouse, now known as Northampton House.
Richly woven with diverse musical influences, it is written for choir and piano with cello, organ, handbells, and drum. It is the third and final video in a series of videos, and follows "Joseph Smith's First Prayer" and "What A Friend We Have In Jesus." The song also released on all streaming platforms, and is available here.

The BYU Women’s Chorus is one of Brigham Young University’s four premier choral ensembles, with more than 180 singers. Led by Dr. Sonja Poulter, the choir is known nationally and internationally for its beautiful sound, strong technique, and moving performances. Its wide-ranging repertoire includes both sacred and secular music, highlighting the unique beauty of the female voice and reaching audiences in ways only they can.
The video was directed by Steven Bartholomew and executive produced by Zach Collier. The album art for the audio release was designed by BYU Women's Chorus member Mikaela Dubreuil. "A New Jerusalem Arise" was originally published in 2022 and is available through Beckenhorst Press.
