Two Pianos, Eight Hands [CD]

One of the most popular and most requested ensembles to play Utah concert halls, the American Piano Quartet coaxes amazing music out of two grand pianos. Joining the Tantara label family with Two Pianos, Eight Hands, their second CD, Paul Pollei, Jeffrey Shumway, Robin Hancock, and Massimiliano Frani have put together a beautiful collection that includes Lizst, Debussy, Smetana, Moskowski, and, as always, their signature Sousa march. The beautiful CD booklet features an illuminating essay about the music by noted BYU music scholar Michael Hicks.
